What data we collect
When you make a purchase, we collect your email address and the order details (datasets purchased, price paid). Payment is processed by Stripe — we never see or store your card number. We collect no personal residential data about data subjects in our datasets; all datasets contain business and organisation records only.
How we use your data
Your email address is used to deliver your download link and send order confirmation. We may send occasional product updates if you have purchased from us. We do not sell, rent, or share your personal data with third parties for marketing purposes.
Cookies
We use essential cookies to keep the site working (session management, security). We use analytics cookies (e.g. Google Analytics) to understand how visitors use the site — only if you accept cookies. You can decline analytics cookies using the cookie banner when you first visit the site.
Data sources in our datasets
All datasets sold on VantageData are sourced from official public government registries (Companies House, SEC EDGAR, ASIC, etc.) and published under open government licences. These datasets contain business and organisation contact information only — no personal residential addresses, personal financial data, or other personal data of private individuals.
Your rights under GDPR
If you are based in the UK or EU, you have the right to access, correct, or delete your personal data held by us. To exercise any of these rights, email us at support@vantagedata.co.uk. We will respond within 30 days.
Data retention
We retain your email and order history for as long as your account is active or as needed to provide services. You may request deletion at any time by contacting us.
Third-party services
We use Stripe for payment processing, Resend for transactional email, and Supabase for data storage. Each of these services has its own privacy policy. We use Vercel for hosting; no personal data is stored on their infrastructure beyond standard server logs.
