1. Products and delivery
VantageData sells digital data products (CSV and XLSX files) sourced from official government and public registries. Upon successful payment, you will receive a secure download link via email within minutes. Download links are valid for 48 hours and permit up to 3 downloads per link.
2. Licence and permitted use
Each dataset is licensed for single-organisation use. You may use the data for sales prospecting, marketing, research, recruitment, and related business activities within your organisation. You may not resell, redistribute, sublicence, or publish the raw data files to third parties without written permission.
3. Refund policy
Because datasets are digital products delivered immediately upon payment, we are unable to offer refunds once a download link has been issued. If there is a technical fault (corrupted file, incorrect data), contact support@vantagedata.co.uk within 7 days of purchase and we will resolve the issue by issuing a corrected file or a refund at our discretion.
4. Data accuracy
All data is sourced directly from official government registers and is provided as-is. While we take care to clean and validate each dataset, we cannot guarantee 100% accuracy of the underlying source data. VantageData is not liable for business decisions made based on the data.
5. Compliance and legal use
Datasets are published under open government licences (OGL in the UK, public domain in the US, Creative Commons in AU/CA). You are responsible for ensuring your use of the data complies with applicable laws in your jurisdiction, including data protection regulations such as GDPR and CCPA. All datasets contain business contact information only; no personal residential data is included.
6. Account and access
You are responsible for maintaining the security of your account credentials. We reserve the right to suspend or terminate accounts that violate these terms or engage in abusive behaviour.
7. Limitation of liability
VantageData's total liability for any claim arising from your use of the service shall not exceed the amount paid for the relevant dataset. We are not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages.
8. Changes to terms
We may update these terms from time to time. Continued use of the service after changes are posted constitutes acceptance of the new terms. Material changes will be communicated by email to registered users.
